Lt Col Roger Dunn

Lt Col Roger Dunn, CAP is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and served an honorable career as an Air Force combat pilot, operational test pilot, and instructor pilot, also also served on the A-10 Thunderbolt II Operational flight Test Team, Air Force Systems Command, where he was involved in the development and testing of the Mask-10A combat paint and coating system which is used on U.S. and Allied aircraft worldwide.  Col Dunn also served in program Chief of Operations, Chief of Safety, and Chief of Quality Control roles.  Col Dunn was awarded 3 Distinguished Flying Crosses (two for heroism), the Bronze Star Medal, and 13 Air Medals, and was recognized in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum as an Honoree.

Col Dunn retired as a command pilot from the 84th Fighter Interceptor Training Squadron (F-106) and continued his aerospace career as a senior engineer for General Electric Aircraft Engines Company and earned a Doctor of Management Degree.

Col Dunn joined Civil Air Patrol in 2007 and currently serves as the California Wing Director of Aerospace Education.`
